Orawell Pediatric Dentistry (“Orawell”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information when you visit orawell.dental, request an appointment, receive text messages from us, or otherwise communicate with our offices.
We may collect the following types of information:
Contact information: parent or guardian name, mobile or other phone number, and email address.
Appointment request details: the type of visit you are interested in, your preferred office, and whether you prefer a call or a text. Our online appointment request form does not ask for symptoms or medical history.
Patient and health information: information you provide to our clinical team, on intake or consent forms, or during visits. This information is protected health information and is handled as described in Section 6.
Text messaging information: your mobile number, the date, time and method by which you consented to receive text messages, the messages we exchange with you, delivery status, and any opt-out (STOP) or help (HELP) requests.
Newsletter information: the email address you provide if you sign up for our educational newsletter.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, referring website, and how you interact with our site, collected through cookies and similar tools such as Google Analytics.
We use your information to:
Respond to appointment requests and schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
Send appointment reminders, scheduling updates, office notifications, and billing and practice communications by phone, email, or text message
Communicate with you about your child’s care
Process payments and insurance claims
Send our educational newsletter, if you have signed up for it

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages — for example, by submitting our appointment request form or by giving your consent at one of our offices — Orawell Pediatric Dentistry may send you text messages about appointment reminders and confirmations, scheduling updates, office notifications, and billing and practice communications. We use your mobile information only to send the messages described above and to operate our messaging program.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and the technology providers that deliver our text messages on our behalf, is permitted. All other categories of sharing described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We share information only as needed to run our practice and care for your child:
With our dentists, clinical staff, and front-desk team
With service providers that support our operations — such as our practice management and patient communication platform, website hosting, form and email delivery, and analytics providers — who may use it only to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality obligations and, where required, HIPAA business associate agreements
With dental insurers and payment processors, to verify coverage and process payments
When required by law, or to protect the health and safety of patients or others
The sharing described in this section never includes text messaging opt-in data or consent, which is handled only as set out in Section 3.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how visitors use it, including Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
As a dental provider, Orawell is subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Protected health information about our patients is used and disclosed as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is available at each of our offices and on request. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable precautions to minimize risk. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, including dental record retention requirements.

As a pediatric practice, we are especially mindful of children’s information. Our website and forms are intended for use by parents and legal guardians, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. Information about a child is collected from a parent or guardian and used only for the child’s care and related practice communications.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will notify you of significant changes by email or a notice on our website.
